Recently Mary asked for chocolate chip cookie recipe ideas on her blog which is here. I responded with my tips but now I think it is time that I share my favorite recipe. Now keep in mind that this is my favorite regular chocolate chip cookie recipe. My mom has a recipe for oatmeal chocolate chip coconut cookies that by far win my prize for best cookie of all time. I will share that recipe some other time, though.
Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 c. softened butter
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 1/2 cups bread flour
As many chocolate chips as you prefer
In a stand mixer cream butter, both sugars and the vanilla together. Add eggs one at a time mixing well. Add salt and baking soda and mix well. Add flour 1 c. at a time. Add chocolate chips and mix by hand. Chill for 1 hr. Drop by spoonfulls on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 until just starting to brown.
I can teach you how to make a word into a link! I can teach you lots of blogging secrets... I am skilled in the ways of the blog...
ReplyDeleteI was going to shoot you an e-mail with how to make a word into a link, but I don't have your e-mail address, so I'll attempt to do it here.
ReplyDeleteBasically, there are two different ways to create a new blog entry. You can type everything in "Edit HTML" or "Compose." Make sure you're in Compose mode. Type the word that you want to make into a link. Highlight it, and then click on the "hyperlink" icon. The hyperlink icon is located immediately to the right of the text color icon, and looks like a tiny globe with a chain link above it. It will say "link" when you hover over it. After you have clicked this icon, enter the url (http://www.whateverwhatever.com), and hit Enter. You're done.
I hope that helps. Feel free to e-mail if I wasn't clear or if you're still having trouble. Thanks for the cookie recipe!
Thanks Mary! I just did it and it was sooo much easier than everything I was trying to do. I have lots of other blog questions but I will pick your brain on them some other time!
